Man arrested in connection with November death

20-year-old faces multiple felony charges

A 20-year-old Colorado Springs man faces multiple felony charges after being arrested Thursday. 

Springs police charged Pedro Cruz-Quinones with accidents involving death, vehicular homicide, manslaughter and criminally negligent homicide. The charges, all felonies, are related to the Nov. 6 discovery of a woman’s body in a field near the 3700 block of Astrozon Boulevard.

She was later identified as 24-year-old Jacquiline Wilde of Colorado Springs.

The department investigated 38 homicides in 2018, an uptick from the 32 in 2017.
